The Ansar Project is a program from USEF dedicated to serving our Afghan brothers and sisters who have come to Fresno as refugees and immigrants. Named after the Ansar (the companions of Medina who welcomed the early Muslim emigrants with open arms), this program embodies that same spirit of brotherhood and sisterhood.
We provide wraparound services in Pashto and Dari to reduce barriers for Afghan community members, including case management, educational support, community groups, and documentation assistance.
